Raytheon is seeking a high-performing HR professional to fill an HR Partner/Generalist role in supporting Surveillance Manufacturing. In this dynamic and fast-paced role you will partner and collaborate with the Surveillance HR team and business leaders to understand the business strategies and objectives while applying HR solutions in a proactive manner, consistent with the Human Resources vision and mission. This role will have responsibility for providing support to program areas and will be the on-site HR point of contact for our McKinney, Texas location.
The HR Employee Partner will collaborate with the business on topics including performance management, talent development and acquisition, compensation, and employee relations. Additionally, through partnership with other HR Leaders and HR Partners across the business, this position will provide support in the execution of strategic HR initiatives such as workforce planning, succession planning, and employee engagement. The ability to execute project deliverables, exercise sound judgment and work collaboratively on multiple projects is critical in this role.
Job location is McKinney, TX and this is an onsite role.
What You Will Do
- Model Employee Advocacy behavior and serve as a trusted advisor to front and mid-level leaders and employees
- Represent Human Resources for the McKinney, Texas location by driving local HR initiatives and providing support to collocated team members
- Support critical HR processes, including compensation, talent development, performance management and talent acquisition
- Collaborate amongst other HR organizations such as Organizational Effectiveness (OE), Total Rewards, Talent Development (TD) and other HR Employee Partners to achieve business and talent objectives, as well as provide HR on-site representation
- Model consistent application of Raytheon HR policies to mitigate risk and ensure impartial solutions
- Support Talent Management strategies to include workforce planning, succession planning, knowledge transfer and high-potential development
- Communicate and implement proactive strategies pertaining to employee relations, training, leadership development and employee communications in support of strategic objectives
- Investigate and resolve Employee Relations issues and complaints and Ethics-related case investigations
- Focus on maintaining a positive employee relations environment and culture
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a university degree with 8 years of Human Resource related experience or an advanced degree with 5 years of related experience
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
- Experience coaching managers regarding employee performance, talent development and / or employee relations
- Experience in handling employee relations issues and partnering with Employee Relations/Labor Relations when necessary
- Experience leading HR related programs such as Compensation, Performance Management, and Succession planning
Qualifications We Prefer
- Strong HR and business acumen with experience driving HR strategic partnerships in influencing business results
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and demonstrated experience collaborating with multiple HR functional disciplines to develop solutions
- Ability to comprehend complex issues and identify opportunities to add value and deliver effective solutions
- Experience supporting international programs or in working with Global Mobility/Immigration
- Ability to work with all levels of the organization and handle high levels of confidentiality
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, to include conducting presentations to the business
- Experience with HR business applications and systems, such as Peoplesoft, Cognos, SPEED, Workday and applicant tracking, or similar database and query tools

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
