What You Will Do:
A Training Manager is responsible for designing, developing and implementing training programs that improve employee performance, productivity, and organizational effectiveness. This role assesses training needs, creates learning strategies, and ensures employees have the knowledge and skills required to perform their roles successfully. The Training Manager works closely with department leaders, quality, operations and leadership teams to support workforce development and continuous learning initiatives.
- Training Strategy and Program Development
- Develop and implement site training strategies and programs.
- Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps.
- Design training curricula, materials, and learning modules.
- Create onboarding and orientation programs for new employees.
- Develop leadership and professional development programs.
- Deploy Covalent software application for OJT training.
- Training Delivery
- Facilitate instructor-led training sessions, workshops, and seminars.
- Coordinate virtual and in-person training sessions.
- Manage external trainers or training vendors when necessary.
- Ensure training content remains current with industry standards and company policies.
- Learning Management
- Administer and manage Covalent application.
- Track employee training completion and certifications.
- Maintain training records and compliance documentation.
- Monitor training effectiveness through feedback and performance metrics.
- Performance Improvement
- Partner with department managers to support employee development.
- Evaluate training programs and implement improvements.
- Analyze training results to measure return on investment.
- Provide coaching and guidance to employees and managers.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- 5 years of experience in training, learning and development, or organizational development.
- 2 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills
- Training program design and curriculum development
- Knowledge of adult learning principles
- Experience with Covalent software platform
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Project management and organizational skills
- Data analysis and program evaluations

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
