Your tasks and responsibilities
- Analyse der Anforderungen an optische Instrumente für Satelliten und Ableitung der technischen Implikationen für den Detektionsalgorithmus.
- Implementierung eines vorliegenden Konzepts zur Detektion von Anomalien in optischen Daten
- Entwicklung und Anpassung von Verfahren für optische Flüsse zur Anomaliedetektion.
- Untersuchung und Bewertung von Verbesserungsmöglichkeiten, einschließlich konvolutionaler neuronaler Netze (CNNs) und klassischer Bildverarbeitungsmethoden
- Integration und Optimierung aller Techniken zur Verbesserung der Leistung des Gesamtsystems.
Desired skills and qualifications
- Vollzeit-Masterstudium oder Bachelor-Studium in Physik, Informatik oder einem verwandten Fach mit Schwerpunkt Optik oder Bildverarbeitung
- Kenntnisse in Bildverarbeitungstechniken – und -algorithmen.
- Grundkenntnisse in Programmiersprachen wie Matlab oder Python, idealerweise mit Erfahrung in der Verarbeitung von Bilddaten
- Interesse an neuen Raumfahrttechnologien und optischen Instrumenten.
- Hervorragende Kommunikationsfähigkeiten in Deutsch und gute Englischkenntnisse.
- Fähigkeit, selbstständig und im Team zu arbeiten.
