Position Summary
As a Certification Engineer, you will drive aircraft design changes through the full certification journey, from early concept to final approval. Working at the heart of Jet Aviation’s Office of Airworthiness within the EASA Part 21J Design Organisation, you will support CS 25 large aircraft STC projects and ensure every modification meets the highest regulatory standards. You work handinhand with engineering and Compliance Verification teams while steering multiple projects across VIP completions, reconfigurations, upgrades, governmental programs, and special mission aircraft.
Your role
- Compliance management: Prepare key certification documents such as classification assessments, certification plans, and compliance checklists and coordinate with Compliance Verification Engineers to ensure all compliance evidence is complete and aligned with regulatory expectations.
- Project management: Manage STC and certification activities across multiple projects, overseeing schedules, resources, and budgets while acting as the Office of Airworthiness focal point for engineering teams.
- Regulatory authority interface: Serve as the main contact for regulatory authorities, addressing certification issues, securing approvals, maintaining strong relationships, and performing validation activities with nonEASA aviation authorities.
- Collaboration across stakeholders: Engage with customers and suppliers to support smooth execution of modification activities and ensure good collaboration with internal stakeholders by providing clear certification guidance.
- Design organisation support: Contribute to the development and maintenance of procedures required to uphold the organisation’s Design Organisation Approvals

Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
- At least 3 years of experience in aircraft certification, regulatory compliance, project coordination, or a related aerospace discipline.
- Strong knowledge of EASA regulations and certification standards.
- Demonstrated project management capabilities, with ability to take initiative while fostering a collaborative working environment, supported by strong interpersonal skills.
- Detailoriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Selfmotivated, with ability to stay resilient under pressure.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
