Project Manager (Early Career)
What You Will Be Doing
Visual Communications is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Manager to support the creative team and partner with peer project managers to ensure projects are executed with operational consistency and accuracy. This role embraces a strategy-first, value-always mindset by reinforcing strong processes, clear communication, and disciplined project tracking.
The Project Manager Rep supports the execution of creative projects within Visual Communications. This role focuses on coordination, documentation, and operational accuracy while building foundational project management skills.
Under guidance from senior project managers or leadership, this role ensures projects are properly set up, tracked, and closed within established processes.
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination
- Support intake process by reviewing requests for completeness and entering accurate data in WMJ
- Assist in developing project schedules and tracking milestones
- Coordinate meetings and document action items
- Monitor assigned tasks to ensure timelines are met
Operational Support
- Maintain accurate project documentation and required system fields
- Track project status and escalate risks or delays to senior PMs
- Assist in budget tracking and reporting
- Support timely project close-out
Team & Stakeholder Communication
- Communicate updates to internal stakeholders under guidance
- Partner with creatives to ensure clarity of scope and deliverables
- Provide administrative support to ensure efficient workflow
Desired Skills
Exposure to creative or marketing workflows
Experience with Workamajig or similar PM software
Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities
Experience working with Visual Communications or Creative Teams
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
