Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a
Robotic Data & Protocol Engineer (f/m) to join our
Robotic and Automation Integration team based in
Toulouse, France.
You will be part of a team developing innovative and ground-breaking robotic industrial solutions for aeronautics. As part of the Robotic and Automation Integration team, you will be involved in creating the robots' communication framework aiming at enabling real-time autonomy and transforming raw machine telemetry into actionable performance intelligence.

Your challenges:
- Implement and optimize communication layers and middleware to ensure high-throughput data handling from sensors.
- Build automated workflows using Python and C++ for large-scale data collection, visualization, and fleet performance tracking.
- Configure, integrate, and debug physical layer protocols including EtherCAT, CAN, UART, and Ethernet.
- Design and deploy comprehensive dashboards to monitor machine health and key performance indicators across industrial environments.
- Apply continuous improvement methodologies to technical workflows to reduce system latency and improve developer ergonomics.
Your boarding pass:
- Proven experience in data automation and robotics within high-stakes industrial environments.
- Strong proficiency in C++ for performance and Python for automation and data science.
- Mastery of OPC UA configuration, fieldbus systems, and real-time middleware.
- Deep knowledge of Linux, Real-Time Operating Systems, and network diagnostics tools.
- Negotiation level in English; knowledge of French, Spanish, or German is a plus.
