Job Title: IT Support Engineer
Location: Scottsdale, AZ
JSGÂ is seeking an
IT Support Engineer - Scottsdale, Arizona to join our client's Managed IT Security Services team. In this role, you will provide technical support to internal teams and clients, troubleshoot IT and network issues, and help maintain secure and reliable systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage help desk tickets and provide technical support via phone, email, and ticketing system
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and server issues
- Support client environments including workstations, servers, backups, virtualization, and networking
- Assist with VMware/Linux systems, cloud environments (AWS/Azure), and internal infrastructure
- Perform routine system maintenance, updates, and health checks
- Maintain documentation and support security best practices
- Participate in an on-call rotation for system alerts
Qualifications
- 3â5 years of IT support or help desk experience
- Bachelorâs degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of Windows, Linux, networking (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)
- Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and cloud platforms
- Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple support tickets and meet SLAs
