About The Role
An exciting opportunity for Operations Resource Manager to work under MRO Operational Support Center.
Provide strategic leadership and oversight of manpower and resource planning across MRO Operations by driving the integration of short-term scheduling with long-term capacity planning, ensuring optimal alignment of manpower, skills, and bays with business requirements. The role is responsible to play a critical role in supporting operational excellence, cost optimization, and compliance, while acting as a key interface with leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
Operational Accountabilities
- Oversee and guide the Lead Resource Scheduler team, ensuring effective execution of daily/weekly scheduling and adherence to planning standards.
- Provide direction in resolving escalated resourcing challenges that impact operational delivery.
- Lead forecasting of manpower requirements for heavy checks, light maintenance, cabin/IFE tasks, and special campaigns.
- Support long-term workforce planning including recruitment, upskilling, and certification pipelines in coordination with HR and Training.
- Develop advanced manpower utilization models and dashboards to highlight trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Present capacity/risk analyses to senior management, recommending corrective or preventive actions.
- Act as the focal point for Production, CAMO, HR, and Training on strategic manpower and scheduling matters.
- Influence decision-making by providing data-driven insights that balance safety, quality, and cost objectives.
- Drive enhancements in scheduling systems, exploring automation and AI-enabled tools for smarter resource allocation.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives and adoption of industry best practices in manpower and MRO planning.
- Perform other department duties related to his / her position as directed by the Head of the Department.

Qualifications
Qualification and experience
- High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification /Diploma or Equivalent (Type of Diploma Based on Role) with Minimum 7 years of job-related experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 6 years of job-related experience.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance planning cycles, check packages and fleet maintenance strategies.
- Advanced proficiency in planning tools (AMOS, TRAX or equivalent) plus data analytics tools (Excel, Power BI, SQL preferred).
- Solid understanding of Aviation Authority requirements (QCAA, EASA, FAA).
- Demonstrated ability to interpret operational data and provide actionable recommendations at senior level.
- Strong leadership and influencing skills, with experience managing cross-functional collaboration.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and prioritization skills in a high-demand environment.
- Managerial skills - Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow. Strong mentoring and coaching skills. Ability to train and develop subordinate's skills. Ability to foster teamwork among team members.
