A Benefits Billing Analyst ensures accurate financial administration of employee benefits, including reconciling carrier invoices, managing premiums, and resolving billing discrepancies. S/he will monitor enrollment data, maintain compliance, and handle COBRA & direct billing audits due to LOA/WC, playing a key role in financial accuracy and benefits data integrity. Partner with Regional/local HR and Risk Management to ensure financial reconciliation of all benefits deductions ties-out correctly.
The pay range for this position is $60.000 - $75.000/yearly.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrier/Vendor Invoice Reconciliation: Reconcile monthly carrier/vendor invoices while confirming employee enrollment data to ensure accuracy. Determine & coordinate, if refunds with Benefits Team
- Data Analysis: Identify and resolve discrepancies, such as incorrect billing, delinquent enrollment/payments, refunds or enrollment errors.
- Customer Support: Handle inquiries from Finance, employees, or insurance carriers regarding billing issues.
- System Maintenance: Utilize billing software and databases to track, update, and manage records.
- Compliance & Reporting: Monitor benefits databases to ensure compliance with regulations and create monthly reports for management.
