Electrical Field Coordinator Panel Schedules for their Rensselaer, NY project site. This is a yearly contracting assignment

About the Role
We are seeking an Electrical Field Coordinator with a strong electrician background to work directly with our in-house electrician team. This role will focus on implementing and documenting field changes to electrical panel schedules, ensuring that all updates are accurately captured, coordinated, and compliant with site standards and applicable codes. Experience working in a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) environment is a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Work side-by-side with electricians in the field to identify, implement, and document changes to electrical panel schedules.
- Update and maintain panel schedules, one-lines, and related documentation to reflect as-built conditions (AutoCAD).
- Coordinate with engineering, maintenance, and operations to ensure electrical changes are understood, approved, and properly recorded.
- Verify that field modifications comply with relevant electrical codes, internal standards, and safety requirements.
- Troubleshooting electrical issues related to panel configuration and circuiting.
- Support walkdowns, redlines, and turnover documentation as needed.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as an electrician, electrical technician, or similar field-based electrical role.
- Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, panel schedules, and one-line diagrams.
- Solid understanding of basic electrical codes and best practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; comfortable working directly with field electricians and engineering staff.
- Experience working in a GMP or other regulated environment is highly desirable.
