- Manages and maintains reports for EtQ system (Irregular Operations Reports [IORs]), FAA Request for Information (RFI), FAA Voluntary Disclosure Reporting Program (VDRP), FAA regulations, and mainline partner requests
- Maintains InFlight regulatory and departmental archives
Duties and Responsibilities
- Irregular Operations Reporting (IOR)
- Reads and analyzes complex daily report submissions from flight attendants for required content and identifies regulatory and/or policy deviations, requesting clarification, when necessary
- Collaborate with InFlight and other departmental SMEs/leadership regarding IOR submissions to work on strategic solutions for identifying operational issues and improving others’ understanding of policies
- Sends weekly InFlight IOR status report to InFlight leadership team
- Submits requested IOR information to mainline partners and other departments, as needed
- Conducts training for new IF EtQ users to align with department proficiency and operational objectives
- Request for Information (RFI)
- Receives and returns RFI reports
- Schedules and facilitates FAA interviews with flight attendant(s)
- Interfaces with InFlight Leadership and the Safety Department on RFI submission to FAA
- Maintains InFlight RFI archive
- Regulatory Reporting for Passenger FAR Violations
- Compiles, creates, and submits required 14 CFR Parts 121.575 and 121.580 reports to the FAA
- Schedules and facilitates FAA interviews with flight attendant(s)
- Maintains the required reporting 121.575 and 121.580 archive and database
- Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and Emergency Medical Kit (EMK)
- Receives the AED and EMK information from Manager InFlight Standards and attaches to applicable reports
- Voluntary Disclosure Reporting (VDR)
- Receives information for potential VDRs and works with InFlight leadership on determining submission
- Submits information, including written reports, into VDRP website and completes notification to the FAA within the regulatory timeframes
- Compiles and submits VDRP comprehensive fixes
- Assigns and forwards surveillance for VDRP closure
- Attends VDRP meetings and calls
- Other Duties
- Prepare IOR and regulatory violation data for leadership safety meetings
- Coordinates with InFlight departments on received and submitted correspondence letters and maintains InFlight FAA correspondence archive
- Attends required Company meetings, training, workshops, and seminars
Minimum Requirements- Current or previous SkyWest flight attendant experience preferred with a minimum of one year in the position
- Must be in good standing with SkyWest
- Knowledge or ability to learn Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Professional, Ring Central, and Sabre software.
- Knowledge or ability to learn SkyWest Online intranet and Company software.
- Experience or ability to gain high degree of proficiency in IOR, VDR, Share Point and other web-based programs
- Knowledge and understanding of InFlight policies and procedures and other interfacing policies and procedures with the InFlight Operations department
- Self-motivated

Physical and Other Requirements- Works eight hours per day during business hours and weekends, as needed.
- Long periods of sitting, working on a computer, and reading.
- Travel non-revenue space available (NRSA) or non-revenue positive space (NRPS) status for attending required meetings and trainings.
- Maintain regular attendance.
