Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Environment, Health, and Safety Manager located in Santa Maria, CA. The role involves implementing and maintaining EHS programs, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. The Manager will oversee training programs, conduct occupational health assessments, lead incident investigations, and drive initiatives for workplace safety improvement. Additionally, the role will focus on creating a culture of safety and sustainability within the organization while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure EHS excellence.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Health & Safety and Environment Health and Safety (EHS) regulations and best practices
- Experience with Occupational Health and implementing workplace health programs
- Knowledge of Accident Investigation and root cause analysis methodologies
- Strong ability to facilitate and deliver effective EHS training programs
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Solid understanding of local, state, and federal EHS regulations and compliance standards
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and ability to influence teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or related field preferred
- Relevant certifications such as OSHA, CSP, or CIH are a plus
