Tasks
As a Tool and Equipment Planner Technician, you will act as the point of contact for workshops, ensuring suitable equipment for aircraft or engine component repair, maintaining functionality, and resolving complex equipment faults.
Responsibilities and Tasks including but are not limited to the following:
- Plan, design, and implement special tools, fixtures, spare parts, adaptations, test bench components, measuring devices, and consumables.
- Create, update, and issue T&E documentation, including operating and test instructions, conformity declarations, and proof‑of‑equivalence records.
- Investigate equipment faults and malfunctions and define corrective measures.
- Issue, manage, and monitor maintenance orders with external suppliers.
- Support capability development and sustainability initiatives to expand the Component product portfolio.
- Coordinate procurement and provision of planned tools and equipment.
- Perform special assignments and support departmental projects as required.
Requirements
We’re looking for a motivated Tool and Equipment Planner Technician to act as the main liaison for workshops, ensuring the right tools for aircraft and engine repairs while maintaining equipment readiness and solving complex technical issues.
- Completed technical vocational training in electrics, mechatronics, or mechanics.
- Additional qualification relevant to the role (technician, master craftsman, or equivalent).
- Experience in Tool & Equipment planning and design.
- Good understanding of aircraft component maintenance processes.
- Strong ability to structure, schedule, and plan complex technical tasks.
- Knowledge of business fundamentals.
- Very good English skills; good Portuguese skills.
- Strong computer skills (MS Office, SAP, CAD, Visio)
