We are looking for an Accounting Manager.
Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional with a passion for accuracy, compliance, and leadership? We are seeking an experienced and driven individual to manage our Accounting department, ensuring timely and precise completion of deliverables in accordance with GAAP, SOX, and internal company policies. In this key role, you will oversee the coordination of internal and external audits, prepare essential tax schedules, and contribute to corporate reporting and analysis that drive business decisions. Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead team through monthly, quarterly, year-end Close cycles.
- Prepare financial statements and select account reconciliations.
- Corporate reporting & tax schedule submission
- Leads the annual budget process
- Coordinate Internal & external audit programs
- Maintain general ledger system of accounts and structure
- Analyze variances and identify areas of improvement
- Manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Inventory Control, and General accounting teams
- Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures
- Process improvement initiatives – develop and execute
Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degrees in Accounting, Finance or related major preferred.
- Five or more years of managerial and accounting experience required & preferred if in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with ERP systems such as Infor, Oracle, or SAP.
- Understanding of SOX requirements and the ability to ensure controls are in place as needed.
- Experience coordinating internal and external audits financial and control audits
- Verifiable advanced Excel skills required & PowerBI preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to research and analyze various types of data
- Ability to organize and prioritize work.
