Position Overview
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Aircraft Cabin Technician is responsible for maintaining, inspecting, and repairing aircraft interior components in accordance with approved maintenance documentation and regulatory standards.
This role supports daily maintenance operations while ensuring safety, compliance, and quality across all assigned tasks.
Role and Responsibilities
- Maintain seats, panels, and all other aircraft interior items under maintenance including cleaning, inspection, and repair in accordance with relevant AMMs
- Carry out work in compliance with company, health and safety, and airport procedures and regulations
- Maintain a FOD-free working area and clean bay areas before and after work
- Ensure all materials, parts, tools, equipment, and documentation are prepared at the beginning of each shift
- Return all unused serviceable and unserviceable items to stores with correct labeling
- Maintain equipment and workspaces in a serviceable, clean, and safe condition
- Ensure all items taken from stores are correctly labeled prior to delivery to the aircraft
- Demonstrate professionalism when interacting with customers
- Stay current with Technical Notices, Quality Notices, and general technical updates
- Participate in training programs to enhance technical capability
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with approved processes and safety standards
- Follow procedures outlined in the Safety and Quality Management Plan and actively participate in workplace safety programs
Skills And Experience
- Completion of formal aircraft apprenticeship or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of experience within an aircraft maintenance environment
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Cabin Technician
- Ability to read and interpret manufacturer drawings, SRMs, and AMMs
- Must meet all required security clearance criteria
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing operational demands
