Tasks
Your responsibilities are:
- Independently and autonomously managing the financial accounting of various companies
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to IAS/IFRS guidelines and HGB
- Acting as the central contact, providing professional advice and support to the companies
- Further developing existing processes and procedures, e.g. SAP FI/FI-AA module, as well as providing professional support and acceptance testing during release changes, interface integrations, or company migrations
- Acting as the central contact for auditors as well as the group accounting and tax departments
- Formally forwarding financial and tax data to recipients within and outside the Lufthansa Group
- Taking on additional cross-team special tasks and participating in projects, e.g. in the SAP CO module
Requirements

- Completed (technical) university studies in economics or (business) informatics, or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience
- Experience in the areas of payment, financial accounting, and bookkeeping, ideally with an IT background
- Experience in project management, especially in agile working methods (e.g. SAFe)
- Structured working style
- Know-how of current IT technologies and payment trends in the payment environment
- Flexibility and willingness to innovate
- Fluent English skills, both spoken and written
