This position will lead the department's Contract Managers and Specialists, providing aircraft delivery support and championing Continuous Improvement projects. The position will also track delivery and payment risk and suggest strategies to mitigate that risk. This is a new role in the department. The successful candidate will have the ability to develop the tools and processes necessary to perform the function.
Attention to detail, ability to multi-task, grace under pressure, knowledge of drafting and reviewing legal contracts, and experience with aircraft deliveries are required.
Education And Experience Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or a related curriculum or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 6 years Contracts management or related experience to include 2 years managing employees, programs, or processes. Advanced degree in related field may offset one year of experience requirement.

Job Description
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:Essential Functions:
- Individual and department level oversight of contracts management .
- Analyzes customer requirements for contract amendments, responses to internal/external customer, and conducts related negotiations, reviews, and management of domestic and international contracts .
- Manages development and implementation of Continuous Improvement projects for the department .
- Reviews and coordinates approvals of contractual documents for protection of company's contractual position, satisfaction of customer specifications and requirements, and adherence to company policy .
- Advises leadership and other functions of contractual risks, rights and obligations and provides interpretation of terms and conditions .
- Tracks aggregate risk exposure across backlog aircraft contracts .
- Acts as a focal point with other departments for resolution of problems regarding contracts .
- Manages contract change process and works with Sales, Program Management, Engineering, Completions, Finance and other disciplines to mitigate performance risk .
- Manages work, sets objectives and meets commitments for self and others .
- Delegates assignments to others for developing solutions .
- Ensures compliance with company policies, laws and regulations .
- Manages and provides training to employees, ensuring established procedures and processes are maintained .
- Proactively assist in developing and implementing new and/or improved policies and business practices to address changing internal and external contracting requirements .
