Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Las Vegas, NV for a Pipeline Operator at Swissport. The Pipeline Operator will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of pipelines, ensuring the delivery and transport of fuel to various locations. Responsibilities include monitoring equipment, conducting routine inspections, ensuring compliance with safety and operational protocols, and maintaining accurate records of fuel transfers and system performance.
Qualifications
- Experience or training in pipeline operation, equipment maintenance, and safety compliance procedures
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems and ability to operate and troubleshoot pipeline equipment
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to operational safety standards
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Physical ability to work in an on-site role, including standing for extended periods and performing manual tasks
- Commitment to maintaining accurate records and following regulatory guidelines
- Experience in the aviation or transportation sector is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in pipeline or fuel operations are an advantage
