RESPONSIBILITIES
• Requirements Gathering and Documentation: Document PSS business objectives, functional requirements, business processes and data models thereby ensuring that business requirements are comprehensively and completely captured. Prepare business requirement documents, use cases, process models and supporting business rules for the PSS Program. Coordinate requirements walk- through and signoffs with stakeholders to ensure that documentation accurately portrays business needs.
• Project Support:- Ensure that all project document artefacts are signed off by the required business and project stakeholders. Ensure all technical documentation and unit testing scenarios provided by vendors is mapped to and meets business requirements. Participating in the evaluation of new technologies and technical solutions for use. Attend all project meetings and ensure meeting documentation is completed and distributed to stakeholders.
• Data Analysis: Collect, clean, and analyse large datasets related to airline operations, including flight schedules, passenger bookings, revenue, and cost data.
• Reporting: Generate reports and dashboards to visualize and communicate data-driven insights to stakeholders, including senior management and department heads.
• User Experience (UX) Analysis: Evaluate the website's user interface (UI) and user experience to identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with UX designers to implement user-centric enhancements that improve the online booking process.
REQUIRED
• 8+ years of experience
• Bachelor's degree in business, information technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst with specific expertise in the airline or aviation industry.
• Strong knowledge of airline operations, reservation systems, ticketing, baggage handling, and related areas.
• Proficiency in business analysis tools, methodologies, and industry-specific regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Business and data analysis with a focus on the airline domain – Amadeus Altea experience preferred.
• Process optimization and reengineering tailored to airline operations.
• Understanding of airline industry regulations, trends, and challenges.
• IT systems evaluation and requirements gathering specific to the airline industry.
• Change management and project implementation in the airline domain.
• Problem-solving and critical thinking within an airline context.
• Documentation and reporting skills with an industry-specific perspective.
