ResponsibilitiesProvides oversight of the Inflight Quality Assurance Program (IQAP) and Inflight Line Check Program. Leads and maintains both programs through upkeep of manuals, processes, and procedures. Maintains regular contact with QA Auditors, Line Check Evaluators, and Inflight Leaders conducting Inflight Quality Assurance Audits (IQAAs) and/or Line Checks.
Analyze data obtained through QA audits, Line Checks, and Required Operations Reports (RORs) to identify areas for improvement and noncompliance. Additionally, assist with the development and implementation of Inflight procedures, to include Flight Attendant Manual (FAM), Carry-On Baggage (COB), and Exit Seat Program (ESP) revision updates.
- Track and trend data from audits and line checks to identify performance trends, gaps, and opportunities for operational improvement and risk mitigation.
- Ensure timely completion of required flight, gate, and classroom audits and line checks and adherence to quotas.
- Prepare an agenda and schedule initial and annual training for IQAP and the Line Check Program.
- Maintain currency of Inflight Quality Assurance Manual (IQAM) and Line Check Evaluator Manual (LCEM).
- Maintain currency of IQAA and Line Check forms in MASS or MINT.
- Review and close all CARs issued from Inflight audits maintained in MASS.
- Conduct random oversight flights of persons conducting IQAA and/or Line Checks to ensure evaluation consistency and program integrity.
- Conduct audits of Inflight manuals using DCTs to ensure Inflight compliance.
- Evaluate internal compliance and effectiveness of established policies, practices, and procedures.
- Ensure training compliance by conducting quarterly reviews of Recurrent and Initial Training to ensure consistent training curriculums are delivered at each training location.
- Assist with the development and implementation of procedures as they relate to Inflight.
- Assist with manual updates by ensuring timely submission of change requests (FAM/COB/ESP).
- Assist with ground and flight training and qualifications for team members obtaining IQAA qualification and/or Line Check qualification.
- Prepare and deliver a dashboard of data obtained in the monthly Inflight Safety Action Meeting (SAM).
- May perform other responsibilities as assigned; responsibilities and duties may change when circumstances dictate (e.g., emergencies, change in workload, rush jobs or technical developments).
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in Quality Assurance and/or Check FA (preferred).
- Domestic & International travel approximately 10% of the time.
- Exert up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force constantly to move objects.
