POSITION PURPOSE
Provides maintenance and general administrative support to the LIFT Maintenance Department processing warranty claims and work orders. Assists in both material planning and scheduled maintenance planning.

- Reviews and processes warranty claims with Diamond Aircraft, Austro Engines, MT Propeller and Garmin
- Files all warranty claims and follows up to ensure the proper credits are provided
- Assists in material planning and coordinates ordering scheduled maintenance parts and supplies
- Creates work orders, sets priorities, and sends paperwork for each night’s scheduled work.
- Oversees maintenance plan and makes adjustments as necessary due to unexpected issues.
- Monitors airframe inspection compliance and component time changes and advises appropriate departments of change/inspection due.
- Reviews maintenance forecast daily and ensures tasks coming due are planned accordingly.
- Processes the work orders from the night before.
- Review and verify compliance on all maintenance-related tasks within FAA mandated time frames
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE.
High school diploma or equivalent.
1 year of related experience, in maintenance or a related area; preferably in airline operations or airline maintenance. Additional education may be substituted for the year of related experience.
Working knowledge of maintenance and aircraft.
PREFERRED EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE.
Prior clerical or administrative experience. Microsoft Excel experience.
Language Skills
Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Able to write simple correspondence. Able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to internal customers and other employees of the organization.
REASONING/PROBLEM SOLVING ABILITY
Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Able to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
DECISION MAKING
Makes decisions on how to carry out specific day-to-day tasks. Consults with supervisor on anything out of the ordinary.

- Work in open air hangars occasionally, involving work near moving mechanical parts and in high, precarious places with use of ladders.

- While working in aircraft hangars
- Work environment may be loud
- May be exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
- Able to work nights, evenings, weekends and holidays to support 24 hour operations.
