Role Introduction
Reports to: Revenue Strategy and Ancillaries Manager
The Assistant Manager Ancillaries will support the Revenue Strategy and Ancillaries Manager to facilitate sales enablement and post-sales servicing of travel ancillary products. Overall responsibilities include leading sales and marketing activities, driving enhancement initiatives, and managing assigned projects.
Key Responsibilities
Manage travel ancillary products, covering below responsibilities:
- Manage sales and marketing, post-sales servicing of a range of travel ancillary products including seat reservations, extra baggage, upgrades etc. The list of products is refreshed regularly according to the business needs.
- Work with IT, touchpoint owners, agile release trains (ARTs) on assigned projects to define requirements, assess legal and regulatory implications, prepare and carry out user acceptance testing and manage business cutover activities.
- Work with relevant business units to facilitate touchpoint expansion, product enhancements, refining user experience, servicing flow and customer support.
- Work with relevant business units to manage content updates and come up with personalized marketing and promotion plans to increase awareness and drive conversion of ancillary products.
- Own and maintain internal product briefs, act as point of contact to resolve queries from the frontline teams
- Manage suppliers/partners ensuring ancillary products are sold, serviced and optimized with performance tracking well defined and in place.
- Coach ancillaries analyst to carry out their assigned duties.
Requirements
University degree holder or above;
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience;
- Knowledge of travel ancillaries, experience in agile projects is a plus;
- Strong understanding of platform capabilities and touchpoint optimisation technology;
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills;
- Excellent time management and be able to work under pressure.
