JSG is seeking a seasoned Project Manager who will lead large-scale projects at a food manufacturing facility in Batavia, OH. This is your opportunity to make a tangible impact by overseeing critical projects such as dryer replacements, equipment upgrades, and new facility builds. This is a Contract to potential direct hire role.
Pay $65/hour to $70/hour
Required Skills:
- 5–10 years of project management experience, with a strong background in food manufacturing
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field; graduate degree or management coursework is a plus
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills
- Proven ability to manage project scope, schedule, and budget effectively
- Experience with technical documentation, stakeholder management, and construction project execution
- Knowledge of project management tools, systems, and process improvements
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and leadership
Nice to Have Skills:
- Specific experience in processing environments such as pet food manufacturing
- Professional registration in a relevant field
- Familiarity with new build projects, equipment installations, and process upgrades
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and safety standards in manufacturing settings
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, or related discipline
- 5–10 years of direct project management experience, preferably within food manufacturing
- Experience supervising technical professionals and managing complex contracts
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to travel as needed for project oversight
- Own a legally operated, insured vehicle for local site visits
- Strong organizational skills and proactive problem-solving mindset
