Summary
The Project Management Office (PMO) and Bid & Proposal Manager will provide critical support across project management operations and business development activities. This combined role ensures efficient project governance, reporting, scheduling, and resource coordination, while also driving the preparation and submission of high-quality bids and proposals in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
PMO Responsibilities
- Maintain portfolio of programs and projects and measure its overall performance (adherence to costs and deliverables, workload/capacity balance) in conjunction with Program Management, Finance, and Engineering
- Champion Safran PROMPT process and PMI based project management principles to improve planning and execution of program tollgate reviews
- Lead Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process for Research, Technology, Development, and Innovation (RTDI) to develop rolling forecasts and strategic recommendations to optimize workload and capacity balance
- Training and supporting project managers, work package managers, and resource managers on the proper application of the Safran project management processes and the use of the oSmoz tool (project management software)
- Support continuous improvement of project management processes, templates, and best practices
- Publication of visual metrics, presentations, and written reports
Bids & Proposals Responsibilities
- Contribute to bids & proposals in close coordination with the Bid Management Team and Sales & Marketing
- Analyze RFPs (Requests for Proposal) and customer requirements, coordinating clarification queries where necessary
- Evaluate the most suitable technical and industrial solutions for each bid, leveraging expertise from functional teams and ensuring compliance with product policy
- Drive cross-functional collaboration to consolidate and challenge internal cost estimates, including non-recurring engineering costs and recurring product costs
- Perform risk and opportunities analysis for each bid
- Support business case development with Return on Investment (ROI), Net Present Value (NPV), and payback periods
- Champion the deployment and continuous improvement of standard bid practices and tools with the Bid Management Team
- Efficiently mobilize bid-related experience within the Programs Team to support the above activities

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field of study
- Proven experience in project management, bid management, or related areas in an industrial or aerospace environment
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a project management and/or bid & proposal manager role
Knowledge/Skills:
- Knowledge of project management methodologies (PMI/PMBOK) and bid management best practices
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and project management software (MS Project, Planisware)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work cooperatively with cross-functional teams under tight deadlines
