Job Description
Join LAWA’s dynamic Sustainability Team and help develop policies and programs to make LAWA more sustainable and climate resilient. As an Environmental Supervisor, you will supervise professional staff and consultants engaged in sustainability, sustainable construction, energy efficiency, and water conservation work. You will manage vital, complex projects that make the campus more efficient and sustainable. Knowledge of sustainability practices preferred. Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills desired.

Must Meet Minimum Bulletin Requirements
Two years of full-time paid experience with the City of Los Angeles as an Environmental Specialist or in a class at that level which provides experience in the analysis or implementation of environmental legislation, regulations, policies and programs, or in the prediction, assessment, measurement, clean-up, and control of environmental pollutants; or Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university and three years of full-time paid professional experience in the analysis or implementation of environmental legislation, regulations, policies and programs, or in the prediction, assessment, measurement, clean-up and control of environmental pollutants.

Emergency Appointment
