• Analyze, design, develop, implement, evaluate, and maintain pilot and instructor training curriculum for qualification, continuing qualification, and requalification courses
• Collaborate with internal departments (e.g.: Flight Operations, Inflight, Dispatch Operations, Pilot Records, Training Scheduling, Safety, Quality Assurance, etc.), and external agencies (e.g. FAA, DOD, TSA, IATA, etc.) to ensure the quality, efficiency, relevancy and regulatory compliance of AQP documentation
• Ensure timely updates to all course curricula through effective tracking of and adherence to all required development timelines
• Develop, manage, and audit training documentation (AQP manuals, guides, supporting materials)
• Analyze curriculum proposals from instructor curriculum proposals to ensure compliance.
• Maintain and update training footprints within MINT TMS
• Create, update, perform testing and root cause analysis on electronic job aids to identify defects, verify performance, and ensure optimal user experience.
• Perform routine data-informed audits of all AQP material for compliance with various company and/or regulatory requirements
• Collaborate to assess safety risks associated with proposed changes in accordance with American Airlines’ SMS process
