Johnson Service Group is seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician II/III to support production operations in a regulated ISO 13485 and cGMP environment.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Execute manufacturing processes in compliance with cGMP, GDP, and ISO 13485 standards
- Perform documentation (execution + review) related to manufacturing activities
- Conduct visual inspection of products and packaging (including lyophilized materials)
- Operate and monitor production equipment (pipettes, balances, pH meters, heat sealers, automated machinery)
- Perform basic calculations and unit conversions (volumes, concentrations, measurements)
- Clean and sanitize manufacturing and support areas
- Monitor equipment performance and escalate alarms or issues
- Support Quality and Continuous Improvement initiatives
- Assist with training new team members
- Contribute to SOP updates, NCRs, and risk assessments
- Manage materials and transactions in NetSuite (issuing, completing, closing work orders)
- Ensure proper handling of hazardous materials in compliance with regulations
Requirements
- Experience working in a cGMP-regulated manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow SOPs and written instructions
- Solid communication skills (written and verbal)
- Basic understanding of chemical/biological safety practices
- Experience with formulation, filling, kitting, or packaging operations is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and adaptable to changing production needs
Qualifications
Manufacturing Technician II
- Bachelor’s degree (highly preferred) in Biotechnology, Biology, Biochemistry, or related field + 1+ year of cGMP experience, OR
- Associate’s degree + 2+ years of related experience, OR
- High school diploma + 3+ years of cGMP manufacturing experience
Manufacturing Technician III
- Bachelor’s degree (highly preferred) in a related field + 2+ years of cGMP experience, OR
- Associate’s degree + 3+ years of experience, OR
- High school diploma + 5+ years of cGMP manufacturing experience
