Description
We are pleased to announce this incredibly exciting opportunity to be a part of Qatar Airways as an Administration Assistant.
The role holder will be responsible for providing administration support for the smooth functioning on a daily basis for the team. You will be responsible for the handling of confidential and sensitive issues involving continual inter-departmental relations. You will play a huge part representing the team through correspondence, telephone, and personal contact.
Some Of The Tasks Include
- Perform advanced, diversified, and confidential administrative support. Handle a wide variety of situations and tasks involving the clerical and administrative functions of the office.
- In consultation with the team, generate business documentation, including presentation and spreadsheet preparation.
- Prepare charts and compile reports as needed and ensure that all files are complete and properly maintained.
- Perform administrative tasks based on set procedures; establish and maintain filing systems and invoices.
- Manage and coordinate travel needs.
- Research information and initiate assigned tasks accordingly.
- Coordinate internal and external communication.
- Respond to complaints and requests for information and assistance; interpret and explain procedures and policies pertaining to internal inquiries of staff.
- Attend and take notes at meetings and keep records of communication to meet the requirements of the team.
- Perform other related duties assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.
Qualification
About you: The ideal candidate will have the below.
- High school qualification with a minimum of 2 years of job-related experience or a bachelor's degree with 1 year of job-related experience.
- Database administration experience.
- Administration qualification would be an advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Client-focused and business-aware.
- Self-motivated and highly organized.
- Self-starter, having the ability to work independently with minimal instructions.
- Proven ability to work under pressure to defined timescales.
