Training Coordinator - Manufacturing
Johnson Service Group (JSG) is actively searching for an Training Coordinator for our client’s operation near Martinsburg, WV. This is a direct hire position with competitive salary and benefits. This is a great opportunity to join a growing industry leader.
The Training Coordinator organizes, develops, and oversees employee training programs to enhance skills and ensure compliance, acting as a key link between staff needs and organizational goals. Key duties include conducting needs assessments, scheduling sessions, creating materials, and evaluating effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct new hire orientation and hands on training for machine operation, safety procedures, and quality processes.
- Organize training sessions with supervisors, manage training schedules, and coordinate on-the-job coaching.
- Maintain training documentation, ensure compliance with safety / quality standards (e.g. ISO, GMPS) and update the training management system (LMS).
- Identify skill gaps through observation and feedback to create targeted training materials, standard operating procedures, (SOPs), and work instructions.
- Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments and performance.
Qualifications:
- 1-5+ years of experience performing training in a manufacturing or production environment
- Knowledge of GMP
- Excellent verbal and written skills to teach employees at all levels.
- Strong Computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel), and experience with a Learning Management System (LMS)
- Ability to coordinate, schedule, and tack multiple training projects concurrently.
- Good relationship management, time management and organization skills
