JSG is recruiting a Payroll Specialist for a client in Wilmington DE. The selected candidate will be a key player in payroll operations, and oversee US payroll tax reporting, filings, and planning, working with leading payroll systems such as SAP, ADP GlobalView, and UKG Pro.
Pay $46/hour
Required Skills:
- Minimum 3-5 years of payroll administration experience, with a strong understanding of payroll tax regulations.
- Proficiency in payroll systems such as SAP, ADP GlobalView, and UKG Pro.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling confidential information.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects effectively.
- Experience with payroll tax reconciliation, filings (941, 940, W2, W2c), and audit support.
- Familiarity with federal and multi-state payroll laws and compliance.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Knowledge of financial reporting requirements and SEC experience.
- Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures related to payroll taxes.
- CPA certification or advanced degree in related fields.
- Working knowledge of general ledger reconciliation and HR policies.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to adapt to changing regulations and emerging industry trends.
- Prior experience working with payroll systems such as Workday or SAP Payroll is strongly preferred.
- Willingness to support year-end processes, audits, and new system implementations.
