Job Description:
This person will contribute to the company’s success by performing a wide variety of mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly operations on mechanical assemblies, sub-assemblies, or end products
Essential Functions:
- Build devices per drawing, routing, and work instructions
- Assemble small and large components to form sub-assemblies or completed assemblies using torque drivers, long nose pliers, screw drivers, and soldering irons.
- Maintains consistent quality and productivity levels
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
- Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean and orderly manner and maintain 5S in the area
- Cross-train new and current employees on all assembly lines
- Identifies problems and contributes to process improvements
- Perform quality checks consistent with the inspection and control plans
- Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced, flexible production environment
- Works as part of a team and collaborates to accomplish tasks
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Able to transport and move up to 25 lbs
- Obtain L3Harris provided J-STD-001 Certification within first 90 days of employment
Qualifications:
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior assembly experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior assembly experience
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Strong mechanical background
- Strong customer focus
- Capable of identifying problems and contributing to process improvements through the L3Harris E3 continuous improvement process
- Able to read and interpret mechanical drawings and Bills of Material (BOM)
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $35,780 - $54,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
