We are seeking an the EHS Trainee who provides operational and administrative support to the Environment, Health & Safety function, contributing to the implementation and maintenance of EHS programs at the plant, applicable legal compliance (including STPS requirements and Mexican NOMs), and continuous improvement of safety and environmental performance.

Responsibilities
- Support EHS compliance with STPS regulations and applicable NOM standards at the Toluca site.
Assist with risk assessments (JSA/JHA, hazard identification) and follow up on action plans.
Help implement and sustain EHS programs (PPE, machine safety/LOTO, chemical management, ergonomics, emergency response).
Participate in incident/near-miss investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions.
Support execution of safety inspections, audits, and legal compliance checks, including documentation control.
Coordinate and track EHS training and onboarding requirements for employees and contractors.
Monitor and report EHS KPIs (incidents, observations, corrective actions closure, waste, etc.).
Support industrial hygiene / environmental monitoring activities (as applicable) and follow-ups.
Promote safety culture initiatives (communications, safety talks, campaigns, 5S support).
Collaborate with Production, Maintenance and HR to ensure safe operations and continuous improvement
Qualifications
Qualifications
High Recent graduate (0–1 years of experience) with a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field such as Environmental Engineering, Safety/Occupational Safety & Hygiene, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar.
Entry-level profile; internship, co-op, or academic project experience in EHS, manufacturing, or compliance support is a plus.
