Role Purpose
Ramp Agent is responsible to promote and deliver safe, timely and efficient ground handling services including operating all ground equipment to our contractual customer airlines. This is to be carried out in accordance with AeroDarat, regulatory department and customer airlines policies, standard operating procedures (SOP) and service level agreement (SLA). At all times, this position is required to work in a safe, secure, professional, cost effective manner whilst ensuring all assets are handled with care.
Key Accountabilities
- Proficient knowledge and understanding of all AeroDarat and contractual customer airlines standard operating procedures (SOP’s).
- Aware of the importance in achieving on-time performance goals in an efficient and safe manner.
- Work in a productive, pro-active team environment with management and customer service staff to deliver an efficient turnaround at airport.
- Ensure timely completion of ramp activities for each flight.
- Provide assistance to other members of the AeroDarat team as required or directed.
- Drive and operate ground equipment’s including AHU, toilet and water cart, pushback truck, GPU, GTSU and ACU where applicable.
- Check all and ensure serviceability of ground equipment’s.
- Perform towing and pushback of aircraft.
- Conduct surveillance check on GSE prior resuming duties.
- Place aircraft chock and safety cones.
- Perform baggage and cargo towing.
- Perform marshaling of aircraft.
- Assist loading/offloading when required.
- Adhere at all times to operational procedures to ensure safety of staff, customers and aircraft.
Carry out all other reasonable duties as directed
Qualification & Experience
SPM with related experience is an advantage.
