B1.3 Licensed Engineer – EC135 | Ireland

Rotation: 1 week on / 1 week off

The Opportunity We’re recruiting for a B1.3 Licensed Engineer to support EC135 helicopter operations across Ireland within a HEMS environment.
This is a highly operational, line-focused role where you’ll take responsibility for aircraft availability, carrying out maintenance and certifying work on live aircraft. You’ll be working closely with flight operations to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient mission readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and certify maintenance on EC135 helicopters in line operations
- Ensure full compliance with EASA Part-145, MOE, and AMP requirements
- Take ownership of aircraft under your control, ensuring airworthiness and reliability
- Troubleshoot defects and carry out rectification within approval scope
- Maintain accurate technical records and provide clear shift handovers
- Report incidents, occurrences, and safety concerns in line with regulations
- Monitor fatigue and uphold safety standards in a live operational environment
- Support maintenance across other aircraft types where appropriately authorised
Requirements
- EASA Part-66 B1.3 Licence
- EC135 type rating
- Strong line maintenance experience in a helicopter environment
- Solid understanding of Part-145 operations and regulatory compliance
- Ability to work independently in a high-responsibility setting
