As a
Freight Performance Analyst, you will play a key role in delivering customer, product, and commercial performance insights across the Qantas Freight portfolio. You will work with operational and commercial data to translate performance outcomes into clear, practical insights that support decision‑making, service improvement, and customer outcomes.
Working closely with Sales, Account Managers, Operations, Product, and IT teams, you will support major freight customers and contracts end‑to‑end. The role includes portfolio‑wide performance reporting, regular insight delivery for internal stakeholders and external customers, and contributing to improvements in reporting, governance, and efficiency. Your role will see you specifically support key strategic customer contracts for domestic and international.
To Be Successful, You’ll Have
- A strong analytical mindset and confidence working with data to produce meaningful insights
- Identify and assist implement continuous improvement opportunities
- Ideally from a freight, logistics, aviation, or supply chain environment
- The ability to communicate performance results clearly, both in writing and in presentations
- Solid Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, with experience producing reports or insight packs
- A proactive and organised approach, balancing routine reporting with ad‑hoc analysis
- Partnered with business stakeholders to make insightful commercial recommendations aligned to strategic objectives
- The ability to work across multiple disciplines to develop appropriate and insightful analytical reports aligned with stakeholder requirements
- A high level of attention to detail and accountability for data accuracy and reporting quality
