The Manufacturing Engineer will develop and evaluate new processes andimprove current process capability, efficiency, and overall productivityinallareas ofmanufacturingonnew and existing products.in support of the Corporate WIN Strategy.Responsiblefor the programming/ troubleshooting ofCNC equipment,designing of tools, fixtures, and gauges, and determination of processparameters to achieve desired production goals and quality standards.

Develops innovative solutions to complex engineering and manufacturingproduction problems through identification and implementationofadvanced manufacturing processes including conducting process analysis, applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials,conferring with suppliers, and soliciting observations from the operators/production technicians.
Refines andenhances processes by applying continuous improvement andkey Leanmanufacturing/production principles and techniquesto areas of production. Recommendsproduct changes/ improvementsto ProductEngineers.
Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing andplanning workflow, space requirements, andequipment layout. Coordinates input that may cross multiple teams or areas; makes recommendations and implements changes.
Assures product and process quality bydesigning testing methods, testing finished product andprocess capabilities, andestablishing standardsto confirm and validate manufacturingprocess requirements.Determinesroot cause of failure using statisticalmethods (e.g.,design of experiment,SPC) that may result in changes indesign, tolerances, or processing methods.
Evaluates capital equipment investmentsand prepares cost justifications.Designs andprepares concept drawings of new equipment or modifications to existing equipment. Manages the overall implementations of capital equipment projects.
Developstoolingandfixturesfornewproductsandprocessesandworkswithtoolingvendorstosupplysuch designs.
Identifiesandimplementssolutionsforissuesrelatingtosafety,quality,productivity, andcost reductions.
Prepares documentationfor new manufacturing processes andengineering procedures.Prepare reports summarizing analyzed process information and trends.
Sharesspecializedknowledgewithothers.RepresentsCompanyonspecificprojects,leadsandparticipatesinprojectteams.

Education / Technical Experience Requirements
Bachelor’sDegreein relatedEngineering fieldwith2-5 yearsof experience.
Must beproficient inCNC programming (G-Code) andhave ahands-on approach in the troubleshooting ofCNC equipment (i.e., Fanuc, Okuma).
Must have experience in the manufacturing of gears and castings.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Excellent math skills and familiarity with personal computers and experiencewith CAD software (Inventor/ Edgecam,CIMCAD) required for creating process prints, designing tools, fixtures,and gauges. required.
Mustpossessstrongmechanicalaptitude,abilitytousebasicmeasuringtools,andhands-oncapabilitiestoworkon projectswith minimal supervision.
Lean manufacturing,Six Sigma, project management, FMEAs,and quality systems experience preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Well organized, detail-oriented, and ability to multi-task.
Strongcomputerskills,includingproficiencywithMicrosoftWord,Excel,PowerPoint,Access,Outlook, and web-browsers.
