About the Role
As a Program Manager within the Group IT PMO, you will play a critical role in strengthening and advancing the organization’s project and portfolio management maturity. Reporting to the Senior Manager, IT PMO, you will be responsible for defining, enhancing, and embedding robust project and portfolio governance frameworks, advancing enterprise project management tools within IT, and equipping leadership with accurate, timely, and actionable insights into portfolio performance.
You will lead PMO compliance and assurance activities to ensure consistent, high‑quality delivery across Group IT. In addition, you will drive the annual portfolio prioritization and budgeting cycle to optimize investment decisions and business value and establish a structured vendor performance management framework to enable continuous improvement across the IT vendor landscape.
Your Duties Would Include
- Developing, maintaining, and continuously improving Group IT’s project management processes, governance standards, and delivery frameworks.
- Leading the implementation, adoption, and optimization of the Project & Portfolio Management (PPM) tool across Group IT.
- Establishing governance mechanisms, workflows, and reporting structures associated with the PPM tool.
- Designing and delivering project and portfolio performance dashboards, reports, and insights for IT leadership and executive stakeholders.
- Managing the PMO compliance and assurance team, ensuring all IT projects adhere to prescribed processes, frameworks, and quality standards.
- Leading and coordinating the annual portfolio prioritization and budgeting cycle to align investments with business value and strategic priorities.
- Monitoring resource and budget allocation across the IT project portfolio to enable optimal utilization and alignment.
- Establishing a vendor performance management framework, including KPIs, SLAs, and evaluation methodologies for continuous improvement.
- Supporting IT Business Partners and project teams in tracking vendor performance, contracts, and service-level commitments.
- Collaborating with cross‑functional stakeholders to drive PMO maturity initiatives and foster a culture of structured delivery and accountability.
- Providing guidance, coaching, and support to project managers and teams in applying PMO standards and best practices.
- Ensuring timely, accurate, and transparent communication of portfolio risks, issues, and dependencies to leadership.
- Leading key IT projects and programs assigned by the line manager.

Qualification
We Are Looking For a Passionate And Experienced Professional To Join Our IT - PMO Team. The Ideal Candidate Should Possess The Following
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in project and program management, with at least 5 years in IT PMO, IT program governance, or IT portfolio management role.
- Proven ability to design/improve Project management lifecycle, quality gates, assurance/compliance model, and portfolio governance standards across multi-department IT
- Hands-on capability to rollout/configure/administer PPM tools (workflows, demand intake, portfolio hierarchy, financials, reporting, user roles, controls)
- Strong experience running prioritization cycles, developing scoring models, investment scenarios, capacity constraints, and tracking budget performance across portfolio.
- Capability to establish vendor performance frameworks (KPIs/SLAs, review cadence, evaluation methodology), support contract governance, and drive improvement actions
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with experience presenting senior leadership.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive organization-wide change initiatives.
- Relevant professional certifications such as PMP, PgMP, MSP, PfMP, or equivalent.
- Certification or experience in Agile, SAFe, or hybrid project management frameworks is an advantage.
