The Program Manager, Flight Training Analytics & Strategy, plays a critical role in taking complex, ambiguous business challenges and translating them into clear, actionable insights that inform leadership decision-making. This role sits at the intersection of analytics, strategy, and execution – bringing together data, business context, operational considerations, and technical inputs to drive well-informed decisions.
As Program Manager of the Flight Training Analytics & Strategy team, you will be accountable for both strategic insight and disciplined execution—leading complex initiatives from problem framing through leader readout and implementation alignment.
As Program Manager of the Flight Training Analytics & Strategy team, you will be expected to:
- Evaluate performance, risks, opportunities, and trade-offs using a mix of quantitative analysis, qualitative inputs, and strategic frameworks
- Design, build and own models to support planning, forecasting, and scenario analysis, integrating data, operational realities, and stakeholder perspectives
- Ensure models and analysis are transparent, well-documented, and scalable for reuse
- Lead end to end strategic and analytics initiatives, from scoping and approach definition through delivery and leader readout
- Create concise, compelling one-pagers and presentations that translate complex work into clear narratives and recommendations
- Manage project plans, timelines, dependencies, and deliverables across multiple concurrent workstreams
- Coordinate inputs from cross-functional partners to ensure alignment, momentum, and high-quality outputs
- Identify risks, gaps, or changes in direction early and adjust plans to keep work moving forward
- Help connect our analytics, automation strategy, and business leaders to ensure solutions are feasible, scalable, and aligned with capabilities
- Serve as a thought partner and mentor to other team members, raising the bar on problem structuring, execution, and communication
- Practice safety conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.
What You Need To Succeed (Minimum Qualifications)
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience
- Strong experience leveraging modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysis (Excel, Google Sheets, or equivalent; SQL and/or Python, or other database interface tools and/or languages
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence without authority
- Proven experience producing executive-ready one-pagers and presentation decks
- Strong leadership skills, presentation skills, written and oral communication skills, positive attitude and able to manage change successfully in a fast-paced environment
- Possess analytical thinking skills, be a self-starter and be a quick learner
- Proven track record of successfully working in a cross-departmental team environment, delivering results on time and on budget
- Strong business acumen and excellent communication skills with senior management, employees, FAA Reps, union officials, vendors, customers
- Openness to feedback from, and ability to prioritize the needs of, a diverse set of stakeholders
- Demonstrable experience with conflict resolution, problem solving and communicating with tact and diplomacy
- Ability to lead, manage, and communicate to all levels within the organization
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience leveraging data to drive decision-making and prioritization
- Flexibility and availability to travel, as well as to perform periodic after-hours and weekend work
- Performing satisfactorily in current position
