Cargo Representative
Responsibilities
- Supervise and ensure that all Turkish Airlines Cargo procedures and standards are implemented successfully in order to complete day-to-day duties.
- Coordinate and complete daily activities with sales team, accounting team, direct managers, GHA/Ramp, headquarters and other business partners.
- Manage and ensure the smooth handling of all day-to-day cargo activities for the station.
- Coordinate teams to provide accurate reservation functions, quality customer service, smooth ad-hoc processes.
- Handle daily flight planning by liaising with operation teams.
- Liaise with Turkish Cargo Regional and Headquarter teams for tracing and provide required follow up with customers.
- Promote/sell/secure business from existing and prospective customers through consultative and relationship-based approach.
- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly required Reports to Managers (Sales, operation and accounting related KPI reports).
- Represent and promote Turkish Cargo within cargo industry community.
Requirements
- Degree holder in university in related disciplines.
- At least 3 years working experience in express logistics service, freight forwarding, Airlines related industry, knowledge in reservations, flight planning, daily operational handling, e-commerce and express processing will be an advantage.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Suites.
- Proficient in written and spoken English. Additional language, Turkish preferred
- Able to work flexibly in a dynamic and diverse environment, works well under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Strong communication, team work and interpersonal skills.
- Permanent residence, Full time work permit in the respective country (The Company will not provide or assist with work permits)
