What are our expectations?

As a Project Controller - Financial Analyst at Pratt & Whitney Canada's DPHM team, you'll find the perfect blend of challenge and opportunity. Your responsibilities will include financial planning, analysis, budget management, and collaboration with various finance teams. Here's what you'll be doing:

What your day to day will look like:

Purchase Orders (POs): Create and manage purchase orders to keep projects on track.

Internal Orders (IOs): Allocate resources and expenses efficiently through internal orders

Budget Management: Maintain budgets, actuals, and forecasts - your financial expertise will drive our projects forward.

Financial Analysis: Dive into financial data to assess project performance and uncover cost-saving opportunities.

Risk Assessment: Your insights will help us navigate financial risks and seize opportunities for growth.

Financial Reporting: Share your findings with DPHM team, making sure we're all on the same page for success.

Collaboration with PMO: Work closely with the Program Management Office team to ensure financial and project management alignment.

Collaboration with Finance Teams: Collaborate with various finance teams at Pratt & Whitney regarding audit and planning purposes, ensuring financial compliance and alignment.

Data Analysis: Analyze financial data related to DPHM projects, contributing to the dynamic decision-making process. Participate and present in PMO Staff meetings.

Project Management : Submission of service requisition requests. Maintain the project actual and financials list and provide ad-hoc reports. Maintain and update the SAP playbook for access and information retrieval for PMO.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
  • [2 -5 years of experience] in financial analysis, budget management, or a related role.
  • Proficiency in SAP financial modules, data analysis, and reporting tools.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, analytical skills, and an aptitude for budget management.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.
  • Results-oriented, committed to accuracy, and dedicated to continuous improvement.
