At Joby Aviation, based in California, we have been working since 2009 on developing an air taxi that will safely, emission-free, and quietly transport people to their destinations in the near future, while also being accessible and affordable for everyone.
The Joby team, consisting of over 1800 engineers and experts from various fields in the United States, received additional reinforcement in mid-2020: Joby Germany GmbH, located in Sauerlach near Munich, brings its engineering expertise to the development of our electric aircraft (eVTOL = electric vertical take-off and landing) on its path to series production, highlighting Joby Aviation's continued growth.
As an integral member of our Factory Systems team, you will play a leading role in bringing the production of our eVTOL to Industry 4.0. You will be responsible for conception and development of services interacting with everything from large production machines to users and everything in between, driving automation and coherence to existing regulations in this new type of industry. With your development skills, you will drive the integration of our production machines and the connection to all related production data, significantly advancing automation to the greatest extent possible.
