Swissport Bulgaria currently is looking for a highly motivated personnel willing to become part of our Finance Team as a Financial Controller.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage and process real-time accounting transactions with precision and timeliness
- Ensure proper filing and documentation in accordance with internal policies and regulatory standards
- Provide accurate, reliable, and timely financial data for decision-making
- Actively participate in the budgeting and forecasting process
- Handle local and international bank payments and reconciliations
- Month-end and year-end closing activities
- Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements and management reports
- Perform accounting adjustments and manage entries within the general ledger
- Execute additional accounting-related tasks as needed in a dynamic finance environment
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Solid understanding of accounting principles (IFRS knowledge – a plus)
- Minimum of two years of practical experience in accounting
- Strong Excel skills and ability to analyze financial data
- High attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Ability to work independently
