As part of our growth (RAMP UP) of LEAP engines, we are looking for Repair Operators to strengthen our teams.
Safran Aircraft Engine Services Brussels is a subsidiary of Safran Aircraft Engines, based at Brussels Airport (Zaventem & Steenokkerzeel, Belgium), specialized in the inspection, maintenance and repair (MRO) of the advanced LEAP jet engines that power the latest generation of the Airbus A320NEO & Boeing B737MAX narrow body families. As a Repair Operator, you carry out various tasks related to repairs and adjustments on aircraft engine parts.
Your role:
- You will review the work documents that contain the necessary elements to perform the tasks (materials, products, technical instructions, references to the reference documents, and procedures);
- You perform the assigned tasks accurately and respect the planning in order to avoid any negative impact on work organization, scheduling, or complaints from internal customers.
- You will use the required PPE when performing tasks according to the rules defined by HSE or the usual regulations within SAESB (e.g., risk analysis);
- You report clearly and precisely on identified issues, difficulties, or risks related to the activity or the product, using the designated reporting tools;
- You communicate the status of the activity/activities at the end of the shift;
- You will participate in working groups to analyze problems and improve work processes (continuous improvement, error and defect analysis and correction, internal and external audits, etc.).
Your profile:
- You hold a secondary education diploma in a technical field.
- You have a good knowledge of technical English and a basic understanding of Dutch or French, with the desire to improve it.
- You are willing to work in 2 shifts (6am - 2pm or 2pm - 10pm).
- You enjoy working in a team, in a multilingual environment, and are willing to support your colleagues.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Belgium, holding either an EU passport or a valid work & residence permit. Please note that we do not provide assistance with visa or permit applications.
