Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Build the operational risk framework for the loyalty program
- Design and implement preventive and detective fraud controls
- Manage and track fraud incidents through resolution
- Serve as the liaison with the Second and Third Lines of Defense
- Translate operational risks into business decisions with documented trade-offs
- Operate and continuously improve the program's GRC tools
Our Ideal Candidate
- 4–7 years of experience in operational risk management, fraud, or internal controls — ideally within loyalty programs, fintech, financial retail, or industries with digital currencies or points
- Proven experience building risk capabilities from scratch (greenfield environments), not just running established processes
- Background as an individual contributor with high autonomy and direct executive visibility
- Familiarity with the three lines of defense model and hands-on collaboration with the Second and Third Lines (Internal Controls and Internal Audit)
- Proficiency in risk identification and assessment methodologies: probability/impact scoring, risk and control matrices
- Experience designing and implementing preventive and detective controls
- Ability to manage and document fraud incidents from detection through resolution or explanation
- Working knowledge of GRC tools or structured documentation platforms (Workiva experience is a direct plus for this role)
- Understanding of loyalty program fraud vectors: account takeover, promotion abuse, redemption fraud
- Ability to translate operational risks into business decisions with clearly documented trade-offs
- Executive-level communication skills in English
