Primary Responsibilities:
- Responsible for coordinating cross functionally to support procurement and contracting of operations systems and services to fulfill the needs of the airline operations business units.
- Individual will be responsible to drive strategic initiatives to reduce cost, streamline process and improve operational efficiency.
- Individual will be responsible to manage and run RFI and RFP process, negotiate contracts at the most competitive prices
- Develop and execute a procurement strategy for purchasing of systems and services for all operations business units excluding engineering
- Prepare necessary documentation to facilitate selection of vendors/options in procurement process including preparation of business cases
- Lead the negotiation of contracts with suppliers, ensuring all contracts are compliant with the airline policies and legal requirements
- Continuously evaluate technology trends and industry developments to identify areas for improvement
- Provide governance for project scoping, delivery, and execution
Qualifications:
- Must be a holder of any bachelor's degree.
- Must have more than five (5) years of experience inn operations contracts / contract management and technology initiatives
- Must have experience in developing and executing strategic procurement and technology initiatives
- Must have experience in leading and managing cross-functional teams and vendor relationships
- Preferably has a working knowledge and understanding of airline operations, financials, and industry regulations
Note: This position is for an Individual Contributor and will be based in Pasay City, Metro Manila but currently following a hybrid workplace flexibility arrangement.
