Johnson Service Group is looking for a Graduate Intern for our client in San Jose. This person will be supporting water quality sampling, pilot studies, data analysis, QA/QC, outreach, and inter-agency coordination for advanced water purification and reuse projects including Pure Water Silicon Valley.
Responsibilities:
- Collect water/wastewater samples and perform field analysis using various instruments
- Support water quality data collection, entry, and analysis
- Prepare technical reviews and field reports
- Assist with pilot projects and special studies
- Review technical documents and task deliverables
- Support permitting activities related to Reverse Osmosis Concentrate Management and CEQA processes
- Assist with potable water reuse outreach and conduct tours at the Silicon Valley Advanced Water Purification Center
- Support QA/QC activities and database management
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university (minimum 9 units per term) or recent graduate
- Available to work 20–30 hours/week during spring, summer, and winter breaks
- Available to work at least 20 hours/week (Monday–Friday) during the school year
- Valid California driver’s license and good driving record
- Ability to work in both office and field environments
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or related field
- Hybrid schedule: approximately 60% in-office and 40% telework
Contract $32.27/hr part-time 20-30 hours per week
