Human Resources Business Partner – BRUCARGO
Role
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) at the Machelen / Brussels site is responsible for aligning the company's objectives with those of the employees and the management of the designated operational units.
They ensure effective and consistent collaboration of human resources services, including employee relations, personnel management, training and development, performance management, career development, compensation, and benefits.
Tasks/Responsibilities:
- Organize weekly meetings with the respective operational units.
- Consult with hierarchical managers and provide them with advice on human resources matters.
- Manage the employee journey from onboarding to exit.
- Roll-out of group performance and talent management processes.
- Provide daily performance management advice to hierarchical managers (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions, manage absenteeism).
- Manage and resolve complex personnel relations issues, participate in labor relations meetings (union delegation and, if applicable, works council, prevention committee).
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to daily employee management, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Work closely with management and employees to improve working relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Identify the training needs of the operational units and individual coaching needs of managers, and follow up to ensure training objectives are met.
- Follow up of HR KPI’s and report to management
Profile:
- A Bachelor’s/Master’s degree with a focus on HR and/or at least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role within Human Resources.
- Practical knowledge of several HR disciplines, including talent management, compensation and benefits, organizational design, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and labor law.
- Fluent in Dutch, French and English.
- Very good command of the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
