Astronics Advanced Electronic Systems (AES) is looking for an HR Coordinator to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Human Resources organization. What You’ll Do
As our HR Coordinator, you’ll be the backbone of our HR team, ensuring everything runs efficiently and effectively. Here's a snapshot of how you'll contribute:
- Administrative Support: Maintain employee files, enter/update data in the HRIS, and keep our records organized and compliant.
- Recruiting Support: Post job openings, screen resumes, and schedule interviews to help build our amazing talent.
- Onboarding: Prepare new hire paperwork, coordinate background checks, present portions of new hire orientation, and ensure seamless onboarding for all new employees.
- Employee Inquiries: Be the first point of contact for HR-related questions, helping employees with policies, benefits, and more.
- Compliance: Keep us on track with labor laws by maintaining audit-ready files, managing drug screenings/background checks, and keeping labor law posters up to date.
- Event Coordination: Help plan and organize company events, employee initiatives, and recognition programs.
- HRIS & Reporting: Keep data accurate and systemized and pull reports as needed to keep processes transparent and effective.

What We’re Looking For
- Education & Experience:
- An associate’s degree (or equivalent experience); HR certification (such as aPHR, PHR, or SHRM-CP) is a plus. Minimum 2+ years of HR experience.
- Skills:
- Organized and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure compliance and data accuracy.
- Proficiency in HRIS software (ADP Workforce Now), applicant tracking systems (ATS) (Ascentis), Learning Management System (Cornerstone On Demand) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- A customer-service mindset with a focus on helping others.
- High integrity and confidentiality when managing sensitive information.

Compensation
- $22.50 – $33.75 per hour (midpoint: $28.12)
- Quarterly Profit Sharing Bonus eligible.
- Factors such as experience in comparable roles, skill set, training, education, certifications, other qualifications, market conditions, and business needs influence the actual salary offered. It is not typical to be hired at or near the top of the range.
