Role Overview
You will be part of a team managing the Integrated Logistics (Warehouse & Distribution) ERP Solution. As an Airbus North America ERP Solution Architect, you will be a critical member of the Regional Digital Hub, acting as a functional expert for the ERP Solution deployment and adaptations for end-to-end (E2E) logistics perimeter deployment and sustainment.

Your Working Environment
The Engineering Center in Mobile, Alabama houses hundreds of Airbus engineers who assist in the design and development of Airbus commercial aircraft cabins, including aftermarket upgrades, reconfigurations, and services of all product types across the globe.

Your Challenges
This position acts as a functional expert for the ERP Solution deployment and adaptations for E2E logistics perimeter deployment and sustainment. You will be responsible for:
Digital Operations: All Digital-related activities for the Integrated Logistics Product/Services (Warehouse Management, Distribution, and Transport) for all Airbus North America business functions.
L3 Support: Acting as the Regional L3 Resolver embedded in the Group Global L3 team, providing the highest level of technical and functional expertise for the Airbus ERP Core Solution in the region.
Template Deployment: Leading the deployment and stabilization of the ERP Core Solution global template, ensuring it is adapted to the specific industrial footprint and regional logistics reality of the Airbus North America facilities.
Standardization: Promoting and deploying state-of-the-art digital solutions in Integrated Logistics in line with the Airbus Operating Model and Standards.
Primary Responsibilities
Product Accountability: Overall accountability for the performance (delivery, costs, people management) of the related product teams. Product scope is end-to-end (Design / Build / Run).
Team Formation: Responsible for Multi-Functional Teams formation in order to manage the Digital Product/Application lifecycle related to the Integrated Logistics solution.
Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement of all products and services within the Integrated Logistics Product/Service, focusing specifically on digital continuity across the "Dock-to-Stock" and "Stock-to-Station" physical flows to prevent digital system "hand-off" errors.
Backlog Management: Maintain a backlog of work with clear priorities agreed upon with the respective business stakeholders.
Business Advocacy: Act as an advocate on behalf of business stakeholders to ensure function services & products meet business priorities and needs.
Global Roll-outs: Responsible for the roll-out of Group Information Solutions and their local adaptations in line with group strategy for the Integrated Logistics scope.
Future-Proofing: Prepare for ERP upgrades and future releases by ensuring local solutions and data adhere to global "Clean Core" standards.
Role Breakdown & Time Allocation
Application Development, Maintenance and Support (40%)
Guarantee end-to-end service according to agreed SLAs established with the business, specifically acting as the Regional L3 Resolver.
Liaise with the business and IM teams in Europe to contribute to the design/development of solutions and prepare the deployment and support of those solutions.
Foster innovation, maintain a pipeline of innovative features, and lead the Integrated Logistics Product/Service design authority.
Organize and plan deployment activities, including end-user training and post-deployment incident logs.
Projects (30%)
Ensure and secure strategic vision alignment between your function and the Business.
Manage projects within the scope of the ERP Core Solution deployment and stabilization using appropriate methodologies (waterfall, fast track, agile) in coordination with Airbus Core Solution and Digital Central.
Partner with the business and other IM Domains/PSL/Products & Services to ensure proper design and implementation in the frame of group-wide initiatives.
Lead the deployment and stabilization of the ERP Core Solution global template on the Logistics scope.
Ensure projects deliver appropriate business value (savings, efficiency, business growth).
People Management (10%)
Manage the Digital team in charge of designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting the Integrated Logistics Product/Service (Indirect reports).
Manage team performance and employee development in coordination with the associated employee manager.
Planning & Budgeting (10%)
Other Duties as Assigned (10%)
Collaborate with global Airbus Digital Operations solutions counterparts to develop and improve standards.
Ensure compliance with Airbus Digital Operations solutions standards, security standards, and evolving cyber security requirements.
Your Boarding Pass (Requirements)
Education
Master’s Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience
At least 10 years of experience in application development and support in a manufacturing environment.
At least 10 years of Project Management experience in a manufacturing environment.
At least 2–5 years of experience in people management (or equivalent proven records within a project organization).
Demonstrated experience in large-scale ERP transformation programs (e.g., ARP, S/4HANA migration).
Strong understanding of Airbus IM standards, project/services methodologies, and procedures.

Logistics Expertise: Deep knowledge of Warehouse Management, Distribution, and Transport processes.
Software Solutions: Expertise in software solutions such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP (WM/LO/PP/MM), Logistics Mobile Terminal, MES, and Delmia Apriso (Dassault).
Testing & Deployment: Expertise in leading UAT/BAT activities and managing cutover/EIS.
Adaptability: Ability to adapt in a changing environment, particularly managing the deployment of central solutions alongside regional regulations (e.g., U.S. Customs, ITAR).
Collaboration: Able to work closely and effectively with all levels of business and IM management.
Leadership Style: Holds people accountable for results, inspires trust, demonstrates flexibility, encourages frequent open communication, and welcomes feedback.
