Electrical Systems Installation Designer (d/f/m)
A vacancy for an Electrical Systems Installation Designer (d/f/m) has arisen within Airbus Commercial Aircraft in Hamburg. You will join an Electrical System Installation Team for Harness Design. As our Single Aisle Program evolves dynamically to fulfill market requirements, our next major developments focus on the extended long-range version (XLR) of the A321, cabin improvements, and implementing new design concepts using CAPITAL and PASS. This role is also available with reduced weekly hours and an adapted scope of tasks.

Your tasks and responsibilities
Design and validate electrical harnesses and equipment installation from architecture to detailed design phases up to manufacturing support and in-service activities.
Secure the creation and delivery of drawing-sets according to the aircraft program planning.
Manage engineering changes, late inflows, and manufacturing non-conformities to ensure correct, on-time implementation.
Act as a Configuration Item (CI) Responsible after sufficient experience to prepare and check the definition dossier in quality.
Coordinate interdependencies and technical alignments with associated departments, such as System Design and Production.
Support the modification process and the attestation of manufacturing non-conformities.
Participate in defining requirements for suitable design infrastructure, methods, and tools (e.g. in cross-functional projects for digital improvements).
Desired skills and qualifications
Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in Aircraft Design, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
Knowledge of electrical design principles, installation processes, methods, and validation tools.
Appropriate professional experience in engineering, specifically within electrical system installation design and information systems.
Practical experience in manufacturing, quality assurance or production support environments.
Motivation and ability for strong Stakeholder Management to support internal projects
Negotiation level in English - German language is a plus.
